1. Cancellation by Guest
- Cancellation requests must be communicated via email to hideawayatkanha0017@gmail.com or through your account dashboard on our website.
- The cancellation date is determined by the date the request is received and acknowledged by the Resort, not the date the email was sent.
- All cancellation timelines are calculated based on the original check-in date.
2. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, or wallet) used during booking.
- The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and is beyond the Resort's control.
- A confirmation email will be sent once the refund has been initiated.
3. Modification of Booking
- Date changes or room upgrades are subject to availability and may involve a price difference.
- Modification requests must be made at least 48 hours before the original check-in date.
- If the modified booking is of a lower value, the difference will be refunded as per the refund process above.
- If the modified booking is of a higher value, the additional amount must be paid at the time of modification.
4. No-Show Policy
If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior intimation, it will be treated as a no-show. In such cases, no refund will be provided, and the full booking amount will be retained by the Resort.
5. Cancellation by the Resort
- In the unlikely event that the Resort must cancel a confirmed booking due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, government restrictions, force majeure, essential maintenance), a full refund will be provided.
- The Resort will make every effort to offer alternative dates or accommodations before processing a refund.
6. Safari Booking Cancellations
- Safari bookings are managed by the Forest Department and are subject to their cancellation policies.
- If a safari is cancelled by the Forest Department due to weather, park closure, or other reasons, the Resort will assist in rebooking for alternative dates where possible.
- Safari booking assistance fees charged by the Resort are non-refundable.
7. Peak Season & Special Dates
During peak season (October to March), public holidays, long weekends, and festive periods, cancellation terms may be subject to stricter conditions. Guests will be informed of any special cancellation terms at the time of booking.
